Failing that, you can download apps to customise the resolution.This Mac is fast, and combined with Mavericks I am now getting some great battery life. Obviously, the more space you require, the smaller things are, but luckily there is an easy to use scale that will help you to get the resolution that's right for you. The Retina screen is stunning, that's for sure, but depending on the resolution you go for, it's not guaranteed you'll have a load more space. I owned and used a white MacBook for almost 6 years before finally purchasing a replacement and this is what I waited for.
